Tasting
Deep ruby in colour. The nose is intense and fruit-driven, with aromas of black cherry and blueberry complemented by subtle floral and peppery notes. Juicy and full-flavoured on the palate, with smooth, well-integrated tannins, balanced acidity and good depth. The finish is harmonious and persistent, with lingering dark-fruit nuances.
Food pairing
Ideal with grilled lamb, peppered steak, slow-roasted pork or smoky barbecue dishes. It also pairs well with roasted aubergine, mushroom-based dishes, lentil stews and mature hard cheeses.
